This guide offers practical advice on choosing jewellery that complements the bride, photographs well and keeps you at ease.

Complement, do not compete

The bride is the focus of the wedding, and your jewellery can support that while still feeling festive and elegant:

Choose a slightly lighter look than the bride's, with fewer layers or smaller pieces.
Coordinate, don't match: echo elements of her jewellery, such as pearls or polki, without copying her set.
Let one piece lead, such as a beautiful necklace or pair of earrings, rather than wearing many statement pieces at once.
Consider colour: match stones to your saree or outfit, and to the wedding's overall palette.

Pieces that photograph well
