Some names become part of a city's memory. For families across Hyderabad, Tibarumal & Sons Jewellers, Shaikpet is one of them: a jewellery house that has been part of weddings, festivals and family milestones since 1920. Today our showroom is in Shaikpet, in west Hyderabad, but the work is the same as it has always been: honest gold, carefully chosen stones, and jewellery made to be worn and passed on.

A name Hyderabad has known since 1920
Tibarumal & Sons began in 1920 in the old city of Hyderabad. Over four generations, the business has been run by the same family, and many of the families who shop with us today are the children and grandchildren of our earliest customers.
That continuity matters in jewellery. A necklace bought for a wedding is often remade for the next generation, repaired decades later, or exchanged for something new. Knowing who made a piece, and being able to walk back into the same family's showroom, is part of what gives jewellery its value.
From Charkaman to Shaikpet
For much of our history, Tibarumal & Sons was found in the lanes of Charkaman, near Charminar, at the heart of Hyderabad's traditional jewellery trade. As the city grew westward, so did the families we serve, and we moved to a new showroom in Shaikpet to be closer to them.

What we make: gold, diamonds, polki, gemstones
Our collections cover the full range of Hyderabadi and South Indian jewellery, along with contemporary pieces for everyday wear:
- Gold jewellery: BIS hallmarked gold, from lightweight daily pieces to heavy bridal sets, harams, bangles and vaddanams.
- Diamond jewellery: necklaces, earrings, rings and bangles, including solitaires and everyday studs.
- Polki and uncut diamonds: the traditional uncut diamond work that Hyderabad and the Deccan are known for, set in gold for bridal and festive wear.
- Gemstones and pearls: emeralds, rubies, sapphires and Hyderabadi pearls, used in both classic Nizami styles and modern designs.
Many families come to us for bridal jewellery, but just as many come for a single pair of earrings, a gift, or a piece to mark a festival.
How we work: bespoke and ready to wear
Every piece in the showroom can be tried on, discussed and explained. If you do not find exactly what you want, we can make it. Our bespoke process starts with a conversation about the occasion, the look and the budget, and moves through design, stone selection and making.
